The Book & Bake Sale
In 2026, the sale dates are Friday & Saturday, March 13 & 14, from 8 AM to 8 PM, and Sunday, March 15, from 8 AM to noon.

Once a year in early spring we hold a public sale of used books,  audio/visual material and puzzles to raise funds for worthy causes. Church members and neighbors donate thousands of books, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records and puzzles. Our UMW members sort and categorize everything to make it easy for you to shop. We have over 35 book categories and a dozen each of music and video genres. For an approximate list of our categories, click here.

Please come and help support organizations in our community by shopping at our used book sale.

An integrated development program
"Give Ye Them To Eat" (GYTTE) was founded in 1977 as a social outreach project of the Methodist Church of Mexico to combat hunger and poverty in the rural sector. The purpose of the "Give Ye Them to Eat" program (GYTTE) is to strengthen the capabilities of marginalized people and communities to meet their basic needs, and to determine and sustain a just and integrated development process. Participatory methods and development tools are used to create conditions in which change can take place from within the communities.

Relationships grow, leaders emerge, communities change

Our mission is to transform communities by engaging children, college-age young adults, and churches in purposeful relationships. Project Transformation’s collaborative model of ministry harnesses the creative energy and leadership of college age young adults, who live in intentional Christian community, and lead summer programs for children in various under-resourced communities.
